In the 1920’s, Attilia, mother of Mamma Lucy, inherited the “magic touch” of the authentic culinary Southern Italian kitchen. From a young age, Mamma Lucy learned in a traditional united Italian family to cook authentic recipes made with very simple and fresh ingredients from scratch.
This has always characterized her philosophy of cooking with success. The love and passion for the kitchen has inspired her 4th son Fabio and his family to take on, continue and bring the experience in the USA, where they decided also to include the Northern Italian kitchen. This reason has pushed Fabio with the strong support of his family, to make Mamma Lucy’s dream become a reality, by establishing a catering service in Arizona for customers that would like to taste the “magic touch” of the art of cooking.
Mamma Lucy is a story of 93 years of experience, determination, dedication, and consistency of keeping the authenticity of Italian food.
Mamma Lucy has never changed the simplicity of her way to cook, which is the real base of the authentic Italian culinary art. Despite the fact we are very stable in not changing our simple recipes, we have started in some dishes a new concept of “Novelle cuisine” based always in the freshness and simplicity of our dishes, where taste and quality are the priority for Mamma Lucy’s vision.
It’s in our project and in our mind to develop always more sensational dishes without losing our glamor and fantasy. We love to be considered in Arizona, one of the really few companies in the restaurant industry that kept cooking with original recipes.
